This is a 1926 Model T Ford made in Canada Most of the parts including the engine block,cylinder head, frame,body,wheels,running boards,engine manifolds,and much more are all stamped Ford made in Canada instead of Ford made in U.S.A. which makes this a very rare car. So if you are looking for a classic car but you do not want another plain Jane model T here is something a little more unique.This car has been garaged for at least the last 60 years which is the time the previous owner and I have owned it.The body is very solid and the doors are solid as well all of the usual spots that are rusted out are solid as a rock on this car the front cowl,door jams, etc. There is one rusty area on the lower rear quarter panel but that could easily be worked over or a new section can be bought and bolted in for 125.00$ There are dents and dings and a good amount of work needed to work over the fenders to have them perfect.And some bolts that may or may not be correct here and there but this is an old car that is going to have to be worked on and have restoration work. THE ENGINE RUNS WELL and from what I can tell the is no engine knocks or smoke.The great part about 1926-1927 model t fords is that compared to the early models they had a-lot of improvements. Including a larger crankshaft,extra bolts from the engine to tranny for better support,bigger brake drums for better stopping,optional wire wheels which this car is equiped with but also includes original wood wheels with purchase. This car is all correct for 1926 from what I can tell.The original ford numbered key comes with the car the the amp-meter works the generator charges the starter works.There is a double front wishbone for the front end which makes the car more sturdy the oil line is also enlarged to allow more oil to the front of the engine.The top was replaced a few years ago and is in excelent condition a 1,100$ value. The upolstery inside is not original or era correct.It is just plain black vynl.But upolstery kits can be bought for a resonable price.The nice part is that the springs and parts are there and not missing.Over all though this is a great car and will make a fun tinker toy to somebody It will be an easy restoration because the parts are all there and you don't have to hunt for missing items. Once again there are five wire wheels an five wooden wheels included with the car. The car has a clean history but has not been registered since 1978 but is clear in the DMV records. I can get a title or sell it with a bill of sale which ever way is easiest for you.
