Vehicle Detail
1975 CJ750 M1M Sidecar Army Motorcycle located in the Mid-West (Ontario Canada).750cc made originally for the PLA (China) Army using specs and engineering of the BMW R71 German WW2 . Runs well has shaft drive, electric start, 24 hp. Bike only has 1250 Km. Always starts never had a problem. Great for around town. Be warned, instant celebrity status when riding. Folks seem to like the Army colors versus shiny "high maintenance" rides. Replaced petcock with a no drip Honda version, perfect fit. This bike can serve as a daily driver and does not leak oil. Registered (titled) , plated, insured and rode since 2006 in Ontario, Canada. My kids are too old to ride (hang out) with me now. Needs new tailpipes which are inexpensive and easy to get as are all parts. Parts & Owners Manuals as well as spares and extra higher end parts (Hubs, Carb Intakes, Steering Head Bearings). On May-01-11 at 19:59:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I uploaded 4 new pics. Accessories and spare parts. Note the M5 Hubs. They are for upgraded rims if the new owner decides to build. For me, the stock rims and brakes worked as per design. Also included is a pair of elongated carb intakes and a new set of steering head bearings. These parts came from Jim Bryant in China and were intended for future upgrades. There are a couple of covers as well, one for the complete bike and one for the sidecar. Other items: Wiring harness, carb floats, bearings, condensors, points, switches, pistons, plugs, throttle, clutch and brake cables..you name it but don't quote me. I too busy to sift through it all. BTW, I changed all oil drain plugs to magnetic. Bike has the good stuff in it, Redline (won't damage brass). In summary, I'd like to say that this bike is incredible. I would not worry about making it like a R69(which are too expensive for parts). Lots of owners exaggerate and go crazy re-inventing it. Well that can be fun too. If you just want to ride her..than you won't be disappointed. The fishtail mufflers keep her quite in the driveway but when you open up on the boulevard, look out Harley man..lol Cheers & good Luck
