This is a 1998 BMW 740iL. I am the 2nd owner and have owned it for eleven years. It was purchased as "Pre-Owned" from the local dealer with approx 24,000 miles. The car was primarily driven by my wife and has been garage kept. The car was driven by non-smokers. I am selling it because I inherited a vehicle and now have too many vehicles. (I recently got rid of my 1991 535i that had over 210k miles and the car still runs great for the new owner.) It has been cared for meticulously by the local dealer and European car specialist. Prior to listing it, I made sure everything is in good working order. I recently had a couple of electric windows repaired as well as new brakes, oil change and tire rotation, etc. The tires are in great shape too. Everything on the vehicle is in working order and it is ready to go. The only flaw is the LED displays with the computer/radio and auxiliary heads up display have random individual LEDs that do not display properly. This has been a problem since the car was new and I had them replaced by the dealer when the car was under warranty. I have lived with it for several years and it is not a big deal. The car looks and drives fantastic with no major flaws in the interior or exterior. There are some scratches and imperfections here and there but very minor for a 13 year old car. It is completely rust free and not typically driven in snow. It has the original owner’s manual, original factory keys, tool set, etc. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The title is clear and ready to be transferred. The “L” version (as in 740iL) with a huge amount of room in the back. In these photos the front seats are all of the way back. As a driver I have never had to pull my seat forward for anyone.
