Up for auctioning is a 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500. It has 75,xxx miles(may be turned over once or may be not), it does runs & drives. It has been sat since 04. My friend and I decided to get it running again. These are the following works had done. Engine is fully detail, new head gasket, new oil pan gasket, exhaust gasket, spark plugs, painted valve covers, flushed coolant. The clutch is shifting smooth, repleaced new clutch & brake fluid. The interior is nice & clean, it has a nice pair of Miata leather seats(cost us almost $500 pair) old ugly original seats are included, new upper door capes, nice dash, all new weather strips(doors, hood). It has a soft top. The paint is average, it has some scratchs, dents & doors dings here and there but what's you expected from a 33 years old car. All wheels & even spare wheel are fully cleaned & painted, it has fairly new set of tires, tires are little over size for better handling. The gas tank is cleaned and painted. Muffler is also cleaned and painted. It has a luggage rack, tool kit.This car is worth more than the reserve price. The car is sold in AS IS and WHERE IS conditions. We do suggest a correct carburator adjustment, and did noticed the speedometer just quit(cable loose, or may need new cable) signal lights, emergency light, horn were not working(may need light bulbs, fuses??) we would recommend a general inspection of the whole car before putting into use. There dents, scratches, scuffs, touch up on the paint. It has one small rock chip on windshield, it has small rips on leather brake console. Please keep in mind, this is a 33 yrs old car so repairs & maintenance will be needed and are to expected!
