1979 Honda CB

This is a nice bike with a charging system problem. New in the last year tires, paint, grips, seat, stater(not starter). Looks good runs great. Is missing the right side battery cover. The battery doesn't recharge as you ride. I'm far from a mechanic and just don't want to mess with it. I bought a KZ1000 last month so I don't need this one. Extremely fast and quick for a 650. There is a pic from under the seat. The guy I bought it from said the part pictured was replaced but was the wrong one when plugged up it started melting the wires. I assume that may be the part causing the charging system issue. I don't even know what that part is called so I didn't try to replace it. This bike sounds and runs great.
