Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1993 Nissan 240SX Convertible. Has 93k Miles. Engine is the twin cam, and runs very strong. Automatic transmission, shifts smoothly. Body is in very good shape for its age. Does have some small dings and imperfections, but no major dents. Paint is decent, fading in some areas from age. Interior is in good condition, dash is basically perfect, with no cracks. Seats have some wear, but nothing major. Power locks, windows, convertible top all in working order. Plastic back window cracked, and will need to be replaced. The rest of the cloth top is in fine condition. Has a working AM/FM/CD deck. Has current Texas registration, will need to be inspected, but will pass. Recent maintenance includes: new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, windshield wipers. Door panels have been reshaped using a heat gun, and repaired. When I got the car the door panels were out of shape and coming loose, as with virtually all old 240SX door panels. Tires are good, with plenty of tread left. There are a couple of issues: A/C needs to be recharged, but the heat works. When you first start the car, it idles low for about 30 seconds, but runs good after that. Not sure if this has to do with the airflow sensor or if it just needs to warm up. One of the pop-up lights doesn't go down. The motor works, but I can't seem to get the trim right so it'll go down when I press the button. I just leave both of them up. The power locks work, but are a little quirky. Sometimes when you get in and shut the door, the car locks automatically, for example. Small crack in the windshield, doesn't affect visibility. Also, the coolant overflow tank is cracked, as is typical for these cars. That's it. Besides these minor annoyances it's a great little car, ready for summer cruising. Good gas mileage, about 25 mpg, and fun to drive, I just need something bigger. Check out the photos, and feel free to message me with questions. Thank you for looking, and happy bidding! On Apr-26-11 at 09:41:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, the car has a brand new battery.
