Vehicle Detail
1991 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Extended Cab, 4x4, Dually - Vehicle ID #2gchk39nxm1212802 - No Reserve Auction Preface: This is a vehicle donated to charity, being sold as is, with no reserve, to the highest bidder. I'm not the owner of the vehicle, but I'm assisting the charity in the sale of the vehicle. The charity benefits First Presbyterian Church of Roseville. Description: A 1991 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Extended Cab, 4x4, Dually, with 71,250 miles; this truck is really clean, fires right up (hot or cold), and runs and drives great. The truck has a 454ci big block, with an automatic, overdrive, 4 wheel drive option (low and high), A/C, power windows and locks, cruise control, cargo light, extended cab, with fold-up and down rear bench seat. The spare wheel, orignal jack, owners manual, and two sets of keys are intact. Some of the recent maintenance, extras, and additional information are: Tires have 90%+ life left. New batteries New starter Brakes have 80% of life left A/C recently charged Owner indicates (and visual inspection confirms) recent maintenance, which included oil change, new oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter. All other fluids checked, topped off, and belts and hoses checked and replaced as necessary. Delta III running boards RBW 5th wheel hitch Kelsey "Energize" brake controller Tow hooks in the front and tow bar in the rear. Truck is registered to Jan 2012. The truck rides and drives so nice it is hard to believe it's a 1991. If you want a low mileage truck with towing power and a very nice ride then this is the one for you. There are some flaws, which are described further below. Okay, now the flaws... The truck is in great condition inside and out, but there are some flaws to be pointed out; these are described and, where applicable, pictured below: Sagging Headliner - Sagging, yes, but is not noticeable to the driver or passengers unless looking up at it, as it does not interfere in anyway. Paint - The truck appears to have been repainted the original color of white, but has areas of fading on the cab roof and areas of where not masked well and chipping. Plus there are some paint chips on the hood and there are two good size paint chips/dings present on the cab roof. Tailgate Dent - There is a dent on top of the tailgate, but it does not effect tailgate operation. Front Grille/Bumper Cosmetics - The grille in general is faded, there is an odd wrinkle finish to the chrome, the headlight lenses are slightly oxidized, bumper trim is sun damaged, and bumper chrome needs to be polished. Surface Rust - The chrome wheel trims exhibit surface rust, the worst of which is pictured below. Wheel Lug Covers - Six of the cosmentic, black plastic wheel lug covers are missing. Exhaust Leak - There is a minor exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold, which is muted when the motor is warm, but somewhat noticeable when cold. Winsheild Wipers - The fuse seems to be okay, but the wipers do not operate. Again, this is a donated vehicle, so I don't have intimate knowledge on the history of the truck, which is the reason for the attempt at thoroughness.
