Vehicle Detail
Hello, you are bidding on a 1973 Camaro Type LT 4 speed project/driver. . CONDITION IS AS FOLLOWS: Engine is a complete GM Performance ZZ4 crate engine with less than 10k miles. (List price at Summit Racing $4400) Engine includes roller cam/valvetrain, aluminum fast burn heads, aluminum intake, water pump, 8 inch balancer, HEI distributor. When the engine was installed, new parts included Edelbrock carb, Splitfire plug wires, Hooker headers, 2.5 inch flowmaster exhaust with crossover tube, new driveshaft, new u-joints, beefy 4 core radiator, battery, thermostat & housing, urethane motor mounts, new clutch, chrome alternator, belts, hoses. Rear end is a completely rebuilt 3:73 posi 8.5 ten bolt with traction bars. Mechanicly, this is a very solid car. Runs, shifts, drives, and stops great. Front tires are still like new, rear tires need replaced. This is an original 4 speed car with the Type LT option. No, it is not a Z28. The body and interior are fair. Interior is in decent driver quality condition as you can see. Has Auto Meter gauges. All interior plastic is in good shape, headliner is new, so is the carpet. Steering column is tight. Has Harwood fiberglass hood, and new rear spoiler. From the doors forward, the car is solid and straight, doors hang and shut good. Roof, dash, doorjams, and window channels are good, Lower rear quarters have some rust. (pictured) Lower portion of the trunk pan has some rust and pitting, but Not bad enough for the pan to be replaced, still solid. A lower portion of the left rear framerail has rust for some odd reason, and the pan under the passengers rear seat needs some patchwork also. (note floor picture) Paint is in poor condition. Other than the above mentioned items, the car is solid. Front subframe is also straight and solid. Overall: If you are looking for a dependable hot rod/driver, and don`t mind some bodywork, this is it. For a 4 speed car with a ZZ4, rebuilt posi and a Flowmaster exhaust, I feel my reserve price is very fair. If the car doesn`t meet reserve, I will gladly pull and keep the ZZ4, reinstall another good running small block, and relist the car. Potential Buyers: I have described this car honestly and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pics, or have any questions, ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty. Feel free to call me with any questions, but please, only if you are a serious buyer. 530 307-8973. If I don`t answer, LEAVE A MESSAGE and I will call you back!! Lowball offers will not receive a response. I am not out of work, losing my house, etc. I also reserve the right to end auction at any time for local sale. Yes, this car is available in person for inspection at any time before the end of auction as I have nothing to hide. Out of country Buyers: I have sold and shipped cars to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and Norway in the past, and have references. I can help arrange shipping to a port of your choice. However, there will be a fee envolved, and you must please contact me to arrange payment details BEFORE bidding. > > BIDDERS WITH 15 OR LESS FEEDBACK WILL CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING AS I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID OTHERWISE. NOTHING PERSONAL, BUT I HAVE DEALT WITH TOO MANY NON-PAYING BIDDERS IN THE PAST AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. THANKS. Larry
