** Low Reserve ** 1965 Thunderbird Hardtop Coupe. 390 (6.4L) V-8, Auto, Power Windows, Vinyl Top, Sequential Turn Signals, Swing-away Steering Column. AM Radio with vintage Radio Shack FM converter box installed under dash. A beauty from Detroit's Golden Age. Good: Strong 390 engine. Solid frame and body. Vinyl top without rips. Classic styling and surpisingly good handling for such a big car. Iinterior mostly good, headliner good. Newer tires. Replaced ALL brake system components <500 miles ago. Original hubcaps. Also have rear wheel skirts in trunk. The car is easily worth the reserve price, even as parts. Bad/Ugly: Power windows intermittent (new motors and switches, so problem is probably wiring harness); carburetor is a little funky (sticking choke); inner door panels need replacing (available on Internet); some paint defects, small rust spots by roof line (see picture). Details: I've owned this car for about 6 years, having bought it here on eBay. I don't have time to finish this project and am tired of paying for storage, so it's yours if the price is right. The car runs, drives, and stops, but I haven't driven it on anything more than short trips, so if you're long distance, I'd recommend a trailer to be safe. This is a 46 year old car with no warranties expressed or implied. Having said this, this car is solid, and would make a fine daily driver with a little attention, or could be restored or customized into something really special. Odometer reads 78210.
