I bought this vehicle February 28, 1997 from Honda Dealer. Oil and filter has always been changed at 2500-3000 miles. I put very few maintenance parts on it unitl a couple of years ago. Recently installed the follwoing: April 2009 at 251,000 - New timing belt, idler belt, new radiator, thermostat, both cooling fans, radiator hoses, new fuel pump. New B F Goodrich Tires. Oxygen sensor, front and rear brakes. New muffler and chrome exhaust tips. New front drive axles. Drivers side axle popped out on trip to Tennessee and drained trans fluid. December 30, 2008 at 252, 311, Installed salvage transmission with 100k miles on it. Car has never been in a wreck except sideswiped by a deer November 2009. Installed and painted new passenger side mirror. July 2006 @ 214041 installed new NGK spark plugs. Michelin wiper blades. I have every receipt for every part that has been put on this car. Only real complaint is oil leaks from main seals. Too expensive to fix, so we have put up with a few drops of oil every night when parked. Air conditioner has never been serviced. Still has the original R-12 freon in it. Totally maintenance free. The mileage will be different by the end of the auction becuase I am still driving it to work every day. For the past two years, the car has been driven 85 miles one way for our daughter to commute. Reason for selling is our daughter got married and her husband bought her a new 2011 Jeep Patriot 4 wheel drive. I have a 100% satisfaction rating on my ebay account and wish to keep this rating. This vehicle obviously has some wear and tear at 280k, but it still a beautiful vehicle and has been very dependable. On Apr-20-11 at 12:40:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I notice in the listing it shows all wheel drive and dual air bags. This must be something on the template from ebay motors. It is a front wheel drive, not all wheel drive. And, it does not have air bags. I believe Honda started installing air bags in 1993.On Apr-23-11 at 06:18:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting excellent questions about the oil leak. I change the oil at 2500-3000 miles and it will be down one quart. So, basically, I change it when it is a quart low on oil. It leaves a couple of drops of oil after driving it each day. The wet spot you are seeing in the photos is water, not oil. In fact, it is water from the air conditioner on the Honda. I parked with the enging running to take these photos right before a rainstorm and moved it over because the decorative posts at the edge of the street were blocking the view.
