Vehicle Detail
RELISTING WITH LOWER RESERVE 1985 Pontiac Trans Am. 5.0lt tune port injection, auto, t-tops, power windows and locks, power drivers seat, etc This car has been in storage for the past 13 years. It had been sitting in one of my customers garage since '97. I towed it out of his garage in December of 2010. When I got it back to my shop I pulled the plugs and filled the cylinders with oil. I then dropped the gas tank and cleaned out the old fuel. I also replaced the fuel pump and screen while it was down. I cleaned the fuel lines and removed the fuel rail. I cleaned the injectors and also replaced he cold start injector. After a few days I turned the motor by hand to make sure it would spin freely. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, changed the oil and antifreeze, and replaced the battery. The car fires right up now. Motor sounds great, no taps,no smoke. After letting it run for a while I checked out the rest of the car. I had to replace the master cyl, and both front brake hoses. I also flushed out all the old brake fluid. I replaced the exhaust from the cat back with a Dynomax System. The interior is in near perfect condition, probably one of the cleanest around. The dash pad is perfect and the center console looks great. It has power windows and locks, t-tops, power hatch switch, cruise control, power drivers seat, and rear defrost. the rugs look excellent and the headliner has no tears and isn't hanging down anywhere. All the weather stripping on the doors and t-tops look great. The original T top bag is include with the car. The body is in great shape. The paint shines like new, and there is no rust. There are a few (2) very small paint chip that are shown in the photos. The doors line up perfect and the hinges are tight. Plastics look great with no visible cracks. Overall the car is in absolutely amazing shape for something that is 26 yeas old. There aren't many left and very few that are this nice. It looks like this is a one owner car. The title says it was titled in Sept of 85. I ran a carfax on it but no results were found. The only things that I know of that it needs are the hood and hatch supports, the radio repaired,(it goes on an works for a bit then the reception fades out), and 4 new tires(due to flat spots from sitting for 13 years). I can replace the tires for an additional $360. I am relisting this with a LOWER RESERVE! I am also selling this locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you have any questions please ask. You are welcome to stop by and look at it, I'll even put it up on a lift if you would like to see under it. 610 328-9183-Steve IF YOU HAVE A 0 FEEDBACK RATING, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING.
