Here is a 1964 Volvo 544 that I was going to restore one day, but I just have too many projects. This car was parked in a lean-to shed in Georgia back in 1974 with only 64,462 miles on it! The body is in exceptional condition! Look at the pics closely, there is surface rust, but no rot to be found! Look at the pics of the underside of the hood, deck lid and inside the doors to see how rust-free it is. I know I could make more money by parting it out, because it is SO complete and there are MANY hard-to-find parts on it, but it would be a shame to take a car apart that's this complete and in this shape. It was driven last by a hippy college girl who went on to be a Doctor. This was her daily-driver while she was in school. At one time, I had thought of maybe painting it flat black, with a set of red steel wheels and wide white wall tires so it would look like a smaller version of a hot-rod '40 Ford. Notice that the back glass is broken and the tires are flat, plus the bumpers are bent. As for the terms of Sale. I am selling this car with a Georgia Bill of Sale. Georgia doesn't require a title on cars built before 1986. It should be no problem to get a title in your state with a Bill of Sale. It may be a '62. I will do some more research, but I won't be home until late Monday night or Tuesday morning. One ofthe first indicators is the 6 volt battery. I am sorry for the confusion. On Apr-23-11 at 11:09:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a number of questions as to the condition of the floorpans. I've gotten some photos this morning of the floorpans and undercarriage and this car is in fantastic shape underneath.
