Vehicle Detail

My buyer backed out so I am relisting my buggy. I am selling my buggy because I want to build another project. I did all the work on this buggy except the 1914 crate engine that is dynoed at about 120 horsepower. The engine came from DRD Racing Heads out of California. The engine came with new 40 Weber carbs and all new internal parts. Nothing reused or rebuilt. New engine case, crank, ect. It was a new crate engine and has 800 miles. The buggy has 750 miles since it was finished and put on the road in June,2010. It took me about 1.5 years to build. Everything on the buggy works as it should....lights, wipers, turn signals, brakes, emergency brakes, seats adjust. No slop in steering. No rattles. The following parts were bought brand new and used on the buggy. ALL these parts were bought new and now have 800 miles on them. The 1914 DRD engine ($4371), Rancho Pro Street transmission ($914), 4 wheel disc brakes, brake lines, dual master cylinder, CB electric fuel pump, fuel line, fuel regulator, fuel pressure gauge, Beard suspension seats, seat belts, Grant steering wheel, VDO gauges (oil temp, oil pressure, volts, fuel, tach, speedometer) fuel tank, fuel sender, wiring, fuse box, throttle cable, clutch cable, shift rod, shift rod bearing, shift rod coupler, ball joints, front torsion adjusters, tie rod ends, CV joints and axles, gel battery, Tri-Mil ceramic coated header and muffler, stainless headlight buckets, front and rear parking and turn signal lights, brake lights, carpet, CB throttle linkage, CB breathers and tires. It also has a new windshield and new frame and chrome mirrors. It has a new 12 volt Bosch alternator. I believe the fiberglas body is a Glitterbug but I have no way of really knowing. It is in perfect shape with no cracks or broken areas. The paint is slick and was painted during the build with no runs or orange peel. I built the 6 point roll cage and it bolts to the pan. The pan is made of 10 gage steel with a 2x2x 1/8" tubing. The buggy is tagged as a 1970 VW and has a ball joint front with a IRS rear. It has a vintage Hurst shifter. It has a lockable storage trunk behind the seat and has a custom Jeep style bikini top. The buggy drives and operates like a new car. It will cruise down the interstate at 70mph with no shimmy or shake. It shifts perfectly through all the gears. There is absolutly nothing wrong with the buggy. I am selling the buggy at a loss. I get my pleasure from the build so that makes up for it. Cheaper than therepy. Georgia does not title cars this old. It will have a bill of sale and a tag receipt. Your state can use this paperwork for a title. THIS BUGGY IS A BARGAIN! Way more money invested in parts than I will be getting for the RESERVE amount. Not counting labor. The buggy is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells. $8,000. RESERVE
