4/15/11 You are all correct it is a 1954 Chevy truck but the title was lost in SC and the guy could not find it so he could only find a 51 Chevy truck title and then he sold to a guy in NC and then I purchased the truck a year and half ago and it's register as 1951 Chevy truck in VA the VIN plate and the title match. Any other questions please let me know. What I have for sale is a 1951 Chevy Truck 3100 Series Good Running Driving PROJECT Truck. You can get in the truck and drive it not a problem but it still needs work. Below is what had been done to it and as well what you will need to do. I welcome you to come out and take a look at it. The 1972 Straight 6 cyl Motor Miles 75,000 (Previos owner said so) 4 Spd Transmission New Tires all around New Front Rims (Due to Brake kit went from 6 Lug to 5 Lug) New Pro-Line Front Disk Brake Kit to include Power Booster, with all new Brake Lines All New Rear Brake Drums, Shoes, Hardware and Wheel Cylinder New Rear Axle Seals (both) New Sterring Wheel Brand New Weather Strip Kit still in the Box Brand New Universal Directional Signal on the steering wheel (But not Hooked up) New Value Cover gasket with a chrome kit cover New Front Shocks The truck starts right up New Speedometer Cable (still does not work) Comes with a spare tire and rim plus two extra six lug rims Overall the Truck is Good Clean Condition for Project Truck New Service Manual and Colored Wiring digram So you have no questions about this truck, first it has a small exhaust leak, second all the orginial gauges do not work (but have aftermarket amp, temp and oil gauges), third the rear main seal leaks slightly, the paint inside and out chipped and body is fair to good, fourth both door windows need glass has plexie glass in them now and go up and down (but leak), fifth no windshild wipers, sixth I would say it needs a wiring kit to make it easy on yourself but all the lights come on. Seventh the truck wood bed is in fair condition. Eight it needs a heater core. I believe this everything you need to know about the truck but if you have questions feel free to call me.
