1980 F100 Short Bed Pickup with a 302 V8 and Automatic Transmission Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This 1980 F100 pickup has been in the same family since it was new. I have owned it for the last 20 years. It is equipped with the original 302 engine with 218,900 miles on it, the engine has a few small oil leaks. The C6 transmission has about 100,000 miles since it had been overhauled. It has power brakes and steering. The air conditioner works great. The interior is original with the exception of the vinyl floor mat has been replaced with carpeting, the seat had been recovered (but now has a small hole worn in it) and the radio has been changed (I still have the original radio for the buyer). The exterior is in very good condition with the exception of a dent in the bottom rear driver side fender and also some paint damage on the same corner due to some paint remover being splashed on it. The pickup has had a couple of small accidents. It had one bigger accident in the 1980s that required the driver’s side cargo bed side to be replaced. At the time of the repair all that was available was a side with two gas tank openings. The pickup has always had only the front tank. The brown stripe was added at that time. There was not any frame damage. The pickup is also equipped with a trailer hitch and brake controller. The camper shell is a Stockland brand and has been on the truck since the truck was new. It was painted to match the truck in the 1990s. The wheels are Ford 1990s OEM wheels. The Tires are Michelin LTX 30 x 9.50 x 15 radials with about 30 % of the tread remaining. The pickup is still used regularly and provides reliable service.
