This is a very nice Volkswagen Passat TDI. It has a 5 speed manual transmission. 180,750 miles. This car consistently gets 41/42 mpg city/highway combined. 49/50 mpg highway. It is all original, no modifications. This car has clean, clear title. We had it serviced by a TDI Club mechanic at 126,903 miles. The mechanic installed a new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, all new belts, and crankshaft seal. Since then, he has installed a new glow plug harness and fuel filter (2/09). Dash light did come on , but the TDI Mechanic diagnosed it with the VAGCOM computer and said it was an issue with the glow plugs being out of spec and that we could change them when needed. We have not had the need , since it starts even in the dead of winter and runs great. I have all these records. It has an excellent 75-month battery that was installed 12/29/09-- new fuel filter (4/11). All new tires (11/16/10). The car is in excellent mechanical condition and has been maintained regularly. Oil changed every 3000 miles with Rotella Diesel Full Synthetic, and NAPA Gold filters. The car is black with tan leather interior. The car is very clean, all the door handles, power windows, locks, mirrors, A/C and sunroof work fine. The backseat tan leather seats are in very good condition. The front bucket seats have cracked leather (this is how I purchased it 3 yrs. ago), so I always cover them with seat covers. No one has smoked in this car. There are a few small paint blisters on running board, see picture. But, not really noticeable, since paint is in excellent condition and the vehicle has never been hit. It has a AM/FM Panasonic 6 CD changer. The only reason for selling is we are in need of a small 4- wheel drive vehicle to pull behind our motor home. And it is a great time to buy a tdi with the price of fuel increasing with no end in sight. Bid now--very low reserve--and very convenient to pick up in Lexington, KY.
