Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 67 camaro that I purchase from the original owner. Bought new from Casey Chevrolet in Newport News, VA on 6-29-67. This camaro was orignally gold with black vinyl top, p/g floor shifter, power steering and front & rear bumper gards and was driven until 1995 and parked ever since. It was painted silver and the top removed in 1988 -90. It needs all new sheet metal, but is missing NOTHING. I mean nothing, it has everything from the original keys, still in the ignition to the original wing nut holding on the breather and original protect-o-plate. All the interior, shifter, seatbeats and headliner. complete from radiator to spare tire and jack in the trunk. If you are looking for a car to restore, this one is missing nothing! Please look at the pictures and call me with any questions 757-329-0184. Console is not included. Local pick-up or can deliver to spring Carlisle, 4-27-11 weekend. High bidder is to pay $500 non refundable deposit (paypal is OK for deposit or high bidder pays fees) within 2 days of auction end and the balance at pickup. Good luck bidding and do not miss this one! On Apr-13-11 at 16:54:04 PDT, seller added the following information: This camaro does need floor pans. I am trying to give a fair representation. It does need a complete sheetmetal restoration, but you DO NOT need to look for any parts. The original door glasses are not even scratched. A friend told me today..."if the quarter has a hole the size of a baseball or basket ball, you are going to replace the whole quarter" to have a nice restoration that you are proud of. I'll place more pictures of the interior soon!On Apr-20-11 at 19:26:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are some new pictures. The firewall and plenum look as though they do not need replacing. the firewall seam looks pretty good, as well. The subframe looks nice and straight and not rusted out. I'm sure there is some rust around the mount bolts! The mileage on the odometer is 70810, but after talking with the original owner again, she thinks that it's 170810.
