Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a BMW E30 (body style) 1991 325i Convertible. This is a fine example of a true modern classic. The car is in great shape and would easily be brought to 100% or simply just drive. I'm only selling the car because I now have a commute. I recently closed my business and sold my work van and this was only used as a second car. Even though it certainly could be a daily driver I do not wish to rack up miles on it plus I'm looking for a car that gets fuel mileage well into the 30's per gallon. I will list all known issues to the best of my ability however, this car should be seen to fully appreciate it. If you would like a test drive or see the car just give me a buzz. I purchased the car from a friend late last summer who purchased it from a senior gentleman who lived in FL & NJ. When I bought the car, the top was not working - the tonno cover hatch motor was grinding. I replaced the motor and several other control arms. I believe all that is left to do is synchronize the top, although I'm not completely sure If I was keeping the car I would just ebay the motors and convert. None of my local shops would give me an estimate on fixing it because they are not top experts. I've done some research and it may just need to be realigned?? The top is an original BMW top and in great shape. The only dry rot is around the rear window, which is visible in the pictures. No known leaks. I will itemize issues below: *Driver's seat has wear*Rear seat has split from sun. (this is real common, my plan if I kept the car was going to make a leather cap to fit over the split on the rear seats or replace)*small ding/dent in hood (see pic)*small scratch on rear corner pane by antenna (see pic)*right speaker seems to be blown*front air spoiler at very bottom has small ding (see pic)*Front BMW emblem has a few chips (see pic) I purchased the car with almost 75,000 miles. At 76,000 the head started leaking. I thought it may be a head gasket. After digging in we found the aluminum head was rotted because it probably sat with more water than antifreeze. I replaced the head and have driven it almost 10,000 miles since. Timing belt was replaced at 72,000 by original owner. I have service records. I expect the car will have more miles at time of sale but no more than 85,000. I will also be changing the oil this week, so it will be nice and fresh... I change every 1500 miles regularly. The car also comes with a car cover with zipper on the driver door side. Buyer must arrange pick up. Any questions, please don't hesitate to call: (732) 947-0453
