Hello everyone! My name is Scott and up for auction is my Rav4. Here is some background on the vehicle and where its at... I purchased the car about three months ago with a rod knock. Me and my father then put a new rod bearing for the number 4 cylinder . This did help ,however it still had a very slight knock at about 1800rpm . I then purchased a motor off of Ebay but the guy ended up sending me the wrong motor which I paid 700 dollars for and paid 400 to my mechanic to pull the old motor and install the new . I believe the motor he sent me was for a 2wd not a 4wd which has different mounts to the transfer case and what not . I have lost all interest in this project and I am just trying to get some of my money back . It might be possible to swap one of the rod and pistons from the motor I bought to the new one and everything work fine but I am not that great with motors and I dont want to go through all that work and ruin another motor The body and interior are in very good shape for the year and mileage . There are rock chips on the hood and only a few minor dings which I couldnt capture with a picture . It could really use a good buffing and wax job as the paint is some what dull but the clearcoat is still in good shape . It did drive great the short time that I drove it . It drove nice and straight with no clunks or rattles . The tires are in great shape and almost look brand new. As for the shipping, I would prefer buyer to pick up, But I am willing to meet up or deliver up to an 8 hour round trip as long as my gas is covered .
