If you've been looking for a clean, straight Jetta wagon with low miles, than my 2002 Jetta GL wagon is for you. It's a 2-owner vehicle with only 72k! Read on for a full description. Mechanically you will be very happy. The motor starts up with no hesitation and sounds healthy through all the RPM's. The starter has a light scratch on cold start ups. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears with no slipping or funny shifts. I just had it PA inspected and put 2 new front tires on and the rears are about 80% so everything is up to PA spec. The steering is nice and tight with no shimmies. The brakes feel good with no pulsing or pulling. It looks to have been well maintained over the years. Mechanically you won't be disappointed with the condition of this Jetta. Cosmetically it's what you would expect from a 72k car. The body is nice and straight with no dents or dings and the paint shines very nice. There is a light scratch here and there and a little scuff on the front bumper as you can see in the pictures. Keep in mind that it is a 9 year old car so it does have a stone chip here and there but it is well above average for the year. The interior is nice and the headliner and carpets are clean. The center console between the front seats is missing which you can see in the pictures. I have 2 remote keys and a standard key. It looks to have been garage kept over the years and it shows. Overall this is a very nice wagon with low miles. Although not perfect it is in above average shape.
