Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, 500 cu. in. engine, automatic transmission, 50,000 original miles, white w/blue cloth interior, blue vinyl top, loaded with many options: climate control, power windows, power locks, power seat, power trunk, power antenna, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, Am/Fm radio. The car has been well maintained and garaged all its life. I have known this car since it was near new, locally owned here in Pittsburgh. The car looks good and gets many compliments. However the car does needs some restoration work preformed to be a show car - or just add gas to be a respectable driver. The mechanics of the car are in excellent condition with low miles. It was PA safety and emissions inspected up until a short while ago. It runs, drives, and brakes nice and strong. I wouldn’t hesitate on driving this car anywhere. The engine starts up quiet and the transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is in beautiful shape – from the seats to the headliner. Door panels are all excellent with no cracking. The dash does having some cracks in it however. The body is super solid with clean body panels. The car’s paint is still in respectably good shape and appears to be original except for passenger side rear door and quarter panel where the body side moldings are missing (I do not have those moldings). There are blemishes and light spots of surface rust higher up on the car along with other imperfections that have been touched up with a touch-up brush – nothing major though. The vinyl top material is cracked and the driver’s side fender has some damage to it. The car definitely shows well from 10-20 feet and is no slouch. The underside including the frame and floors are clean and solid and appear to have never been patched (still has original undercoating from the 70’s). Exhaust, brake and gas lines have been maintained and are in good condition. Chrome and stainless (including hubcaps) are in good condition too. Rear bumper filler panels cracked as they usually do from this vintage and are missing. Trunk area is nice with original carpet kit still intact. All and all the car is very respectable and could be driven and used as a driver with no worries. Reserve price is low and reasonable. IMPORTANT ... PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!!! I have disclosed what I know about my car to the best of my ability and to the best of my knowledge. Note: The car is sold "as-is" and is located in the Pittsburgh, PA area. It can either be picked up at or delivered from my location. Buyer will need to arrange for ALL shipping requirements including payment! I will help in any way I can with that procedure.
