I am the original owner, bought the car new for $23,000 in 2008 with all the features listed below. Everything works perfectly. The mileage is high for a 2 year old car, but these are all highway miles. Gets 38 MPG highway and 32 around country roads. 144 inches long from bumper to bumper, this car is unbelievably easy to find parking spaces for that other cars can't dream of fittin into, this is the shortest car you can buy other than Smart car, the Mini Cooper is a whole foot shorter than Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris which are the only others that even come close. Great for going into cities where parking is a problem. AC blasts cold. CD player has fantastic speaker system, sounds like a concert hall, no need for aftermarket PA system. Automatic transmission works perfectly. Optional sports wheel includes cruise control and radio control switches. Optional center arm rest has storage compartment. Optional rear cigarette lighter hole (power hole) in rear hatch. Optional automatic added almost $1000 to original sticker price. Definitely worth it because it's a fantastic tranny system which offers optional sports mode for lower gear for sporty driving, basic mode for better MPG, and it can even be operated as a manual tranny if you lock out the automatic mode. You will be glad you got the automatic even only if it allows you to drink coffee while driving. Optional luggage rack is included although not installed currently. I will show you how to install it or you can read the booklet that comes with it. Easy to take on and off. Front tires are Blizzaks, rear are all weather tires. If you live within a reasonable distance I will drive the car to you if you drive me back or pay my bus fare. I put the luggage rack on and added two pics with the rack on. The rack is not after-market, it is a real MINI manufactured (BMW made) "base rack" that you can mount other things to like a bicycle rack, kayak rack, etc, all made by Mini (BMW) and available at a dealer, or you can just use it the way it is to strap anything onto the roof. Right now the rack is off again. On Apr-05-11 at 18:46:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I listed this car in February and it did not sell because I set the reserve price at $13,000 which turned out to be too high. I relisted it, but had to take the listing down because my other car died and I needed to start driving the Mini again. I just got another car and am now relisting the Mini a third time, but I need to tell you, I drove to Virginia twice and put 2000 more miles on the odometer after these photos were taken. Also, I took the plates off the Mini, so I won't be able to drive the car to you as I said in this listing, you will be responsible for picking up the car or getting your own plates to drive it away.
