Up for bid is a 1977 scout ii that i picked up in my home town, the owner bought it off the show room floor and has owned it until about 4 mounths ago when i bought it. My plan was to use it for a summer ride. I put a new 4 inch rough country lift kit on it , which is new springs new shocks, all new bushings. I also had heavy duty shackles and a heavy duty drag link made for better handeling. the engine is a 304 V 8 that runs excellent with great oil presure. I also did a tune up including a carb rebuild. Brakes are new front and rear with new brake hoses for front and brake wheel cyl for rear with a break fluid flush at that time. As we all know most scouts do have some rust, the worst on this one is on the pass. side behind the door. the rest of the body is pretty solid. I tryed to show as much as i could in the pics. the interior is real good except for where the driver sits. Paint is original interior is also original. does not have a radio. I do have a very nice light bar that goes with it. The clutch is very good and works well. the drive train front and rear works well and drives well. the transmission shifts nice and smooth , the transfer case works very good to. front hubs work smooth and are in good shape. My plan was to keep it but things are not working as planed. with very little work I think it could be as clean as anything out there!
