Vehicle Detail

NOTE: This auction has been ended twice by fraudulent purchase attempts on the part of persons no longer registered on eBay. For this reason, there will be no "Buy It Now" price on this auction. I apologize for the inconvenience to those who have bid on the item in the past, and I appreciate your patience. With that said, here we go... My grandfather bought this car new in 1986 for my grandmother, and she put a mere ~32,000 miles on it before deciding that she was no longer able to drive. It is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition inside and out; well-suited for the originalist or for anyone who likes to customize these big, smooth-riding, mid-80's American sedans. Having enjoyed my 2,000 miles behind the wheel immensely, I'm ready to let the next owner turn some heads as they ride in comfortable, classic style! There are only 34,059 miles on this well-maintained beauty. It is equipped with A/C (compressor replaced last Fall), cruise control, power door locks, AM/FM stereo, power steering, automatic transmission w/ overdrive, full-size spare, and comes with a car cover. Everything works great, and the interior is positively immaculate. The whitewall tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. It runs strong and drives great--whether your headed around the block or across the country. The car was involved in a minor fender bender in 1997 when my grandmother mis-judged the clearance while leaving her parking space at the hair salon in Shreveport, LA. The fender was replaced and the paint & pinstriping was matched to the original. The car has been under a carport most of its life, so the vinyl top is in excellent condition. The dashboard has one small crack about the size of a dime next to the defroster vent; this is visible only when looking through the windshield from the outside. Also, the small red Pontiac emblem on the front grill is somewhat faded. These are the only two places where the car shows any signs of having spent any time in the sun. The chrome is in good shape. I've been all over it, and the places where one might expect to find rust issues are trouble-free. Feel free to request specific pics if you have specific questions, and I'll gladly send them. Purchaser must make $500 deposit via PayPal to be credited towards purchase within 48 hrs of being named the winning bidder. Remainder must be paid via PayPal or cashier's check within 7 days of same. I will deliver within 50 miles of Fort Worth, TX. Beyond that, purchaser is responsible for all shipping. Thanks for looking, and good luck!!!
