I added a video of engine running at the end of the listing. Well maintain engine. I put a little more detail about the engine here because it is the heart of the car. We drove this car 150 miles straight. It drove nice and smooth. This car comes with Toyota's Advanced, Efficient 1.8L Engine. It has dual overhead cams, VVTL-i -> variable valve control multiport fuel injection. Four valves fed into each cylinder, for a total of 16 valves. Toyota built both the block and heads from an aluminum alloy. This Celica GT has the 1ZZFE model. It is a quick response, high torque model- which has a longer stroke ratio, to further improve the torque characteristic. (Celica GTS has the 2ZZGE engine which has slower response but generates more HP in high RPM.) Unless you drive long distances regularly, you would like the engine model this has has. A lot of people who tested the Celica GT and GTS opted for the more responsive GT model, although they were initially looking for power. This car has the 4-speed electronically controlled transmission (ECT). History of the vehicle This car has only had 3 owners. The last owner actually wanted to keep the car but for financial reasons he had to sell it. He drove it mostly to save money on gas. Vehicle description One of the best, sporty looking cars you can buy for the money and this model is rare, hard to find. With this GT, unlike other sports cars, you can get really good gas mileage. This vehicle has chrome projector, halo-eye headlights and chrome, lighted mirrors which other Celicas don't have. Those give it the look of the latest sports car. It has halo lights and illuminated angel-eye rings and LEDs, all which combine to give a fantastic look at night. Chrome mirrors are matching with the headlights and wheels. They have flashing signal lights and LED arrows in the glass. This car is one of the rare vehicles which exceed the AutoCheck value range for similar Celicas (which have 55-74). This car has a score of 77. Even though this car is a 2001, it is the same model as the 2006. Since it is a smaller car you can park in tight places. It has a nice trunk space and you can fold either half or the entire back seat open which gives additional space for the trunk. It has a unique design for the trunk which opens up along with the rear glass. The paint is very nice and shiny. There is a small dent in the driver's door (I put a photo of it). Also a couple of scratch marks; not too deep so you may be able to buff them out. Interior has no major damage or odor. Dash board is very nice. It also has a digital LCD section in the gauge cluster for the gas and engine heat. All power options, power windows, mirrors and door locks. The power sunroof is great for the upcoming summer. Original front two tone racing seats. Seats have a few burn marks, but since they are a dark gray color it is not very visible. (Most vehicles have minor things like what I mentioned, the difference is most sellers don't mention them, we want you to know what you are buying even if it lowers the price.) All maintenance has been done. Fresh, clean oil. We have scanned the vehicle computer and no errors were found, no dash warning lights on. The car has an advanced engine.
