1964 Chevy Impala 2 door hardtop that needs to be restored. It is a good project car although it does need complete floor pans, trunk pans etc. It has rust in some of the typical spots. Car has the 327 engine in it although it doesn't run. I think it's the original engine. The original carb and intake are in the trunk, it currently has a two barrel intake and carb on the engine. Car has power steering. The body lines are straight on this car. You will see good gaps etc. All the glass is there and in good shape. Expect rust but the car is definitely restorable. It is a true SS. You can verify that with the tags on the car and the vin. It has most if not all the SS exterior trim. It doesn't have the emblems. I can't find those.It has the SS interior and the seats with the chrome band are there as well. The seats and headliner will have to be redone. It has the SS console as well. Like I said, everything needs to be cleaned up and restored but it's all there. It's a good project that been sitting in my garage too long and I know I just won't get to it anytime soon. I also looked in the car and the radiator is in the back of the car.There were also questions about the interior. The interior is all there but it's in rough shape. The seats are there but not bolted in. Someone also asked about the console. I included pics of the console as well. It needs to be cleaned up and the vinyl dyed but it in serviceable shape.The front bumper is there but it will definitely have to be rechromed if you want to use it. The back of the bumper has rust in it in the long flat brace part of the bumper.It can be saved if you want to use it. The headliner bows are all there. Like I said earlier....I want to describe the car as accurately as possible.
