I am selling my wifes BMW X5 4.8 is. If you aren't a car expert let me explain about the 4.8 is package because you may not understand why some x5's look completely HOT and others look blah. The 4.8is comes with of course the larger V8 engine but more importantly it comes with the effects package that is what gives it an amazing look. This includes painted front and rear bumpers, painted rear view mirrors, MASSIVE wheels and fender flares and well the pictures tell the rest- this is an AMAZING looking car- the most amazing we have probably ever owned. My wife constantly gets people asking her about it, asking her what kind of car it is, telling her how beautiful it is. It is a standout for sure. We have owned the car for several years and we have had maintenance performed by a local BMW dealer. The tires were purchased last year and so they are new- and if you price these tires thats YOUR win. The vehicle is inspected through April 2011 and has nothing wrong with it at all. The options it has are pretty much covered by the fact that its a top of the line BMW- of course it has a cd changer, and top of the line stereo system, but it also has navigation, cruise, power moonroof, power seats, heated seats, power just about everything! This car is in immaculate condition- we own a wash and detail center and this car has gotten owners privaleges and babying its entire time with us. We have extra rubber mats which are nice for muddy and wintery times. We also have the regular carpet mats too. The color combination is almost impossible to find- search ebay, search cars.com, search autotrader.com and you wont find a RED 4.8is with black interior- a lot of these cars had a beige interior that is ugly. You won't have any chance of seeing another car like this in the neighborhood. It screams success, it shouts gorgeous, and it just plain is everything BMW stands for in terms of looks. We couldn't have cared for this car any more than we did and we have all records to show what we have done. It has two new front air struts (a common failure at about this age for the car) so this is already taken care of! The only defect to speak of is a small minor scratch on the front bumper and of course minor stuff that comes with a 2006 vehicle (tiny chip here or there)- shown in pictures and easy to touch up but we just didnt even bother because its so minor. And very important also is that this car is and has been pet free! I am happy to show you the car or let you drive it before the auction ends. Its powerful and just plain amazing to drive.
