Recent barn find from here in Southeast Texas. 1976 Triumph Bonneville. Five speed transmission. Oil in the frame model. Clear Texas title. Matching frame and engine numbers (T140 V(?)EN70958). When I discovered this bike about 3 weeks ago it was reasonably complete but in rough condition. Much of what is missing from the bike was not salvageable. Other parts I have been selling on ebay. What remains is a great start to a street tracker, cafe bike, or restoration. Includes centerstand, kickstand, both handlebar switches, foot pegs, complete brakes (front and rear), a very good rear Dunlop tire, and everything else you see in the photos. Front forks are excellent with no pitting in the fork tubes. The bad news: Both rims are very rusty and the front tire is only on the bike so I can move it. Rear shocks are original and probably should be discarded. Pistons and cylinder liners had to be sacrificed to unstick the engine. Lower end appears to be in excellent condition. The engine is complete. Front sprocket, alternator, primary drive, etc. all included. One broken cylinder fin and I have the broken piece. I live just north of Houston, Texas and drive regularly to Colorado (new grandson) so it is possible that if you live along this route that I can deliver the bike at no cost.
