This engine is more refined than the older version. It has a 200Hp electric multi port injection (EMPI), Overhead valve V6 engine. Torque is 252 ft-lbs. @ 3400 rpm. 5 speed manual transmission. History of the vehicle This is a one owner vehicle. The owner is moving out of the state so we acquired it for resale. He used synthetic blend oil and maintained the vehicle well with no accident history. Vehicle description This is a rear wheel drive, 5 speed transmission, one owner adult owned, excellent condition, Ford F150. Full size XLT, long bed with advanced, efficient, gas saving OHV 4.2L engine . It also comes with a very nice fiberglass bed cover (which also saves on gas up to 10% by minimizing the wind drag). It has a tow package with 7 pin connector as well. It also has a block heater installed. This is rear wheel drive, 5 speed transmission. The vehicle has a nice look with shiny red color. No rust. The tail gate has minor scratches and there is a small paint scrape and minor dent on the box (see the photos). Other than that the body is very nice. I drove this truck about 200 miles straight and it handles great. The engine runs smooth and the 5 speed tranny and clutch works fine. As we all know Ford F-150 has been the best selling truck for over 34 years. Simply put, they are tough, long lasting and reliable. This is a 2 wheel drive, winter is almost over and there is not as much need for a 4x4 (even though 4 wheel drive is useful in the winter, 4x4 has a lower tow rating, lower mpg and higher maintenance cost over a 4x2). Tires are getting down but some life left. Brand New, full size spare wheel. The interior has no smells. There are some scratch marks in the dash and the plastic door panel (see the photo). One small burn spot in the drivers seat and the seats could use a good cleanup. Manual transmission is the way to go with the rising gas prices. You can save a lot on gas, especially on in town driving. I drove the truck on a long distance trip and it runs great. If you are planning to do heavy, continuous towing you will probably want to go with a 4.6 or 5.8 Triton engine and auto transmission. The mpg on those are lower but they have a higher towing capacity. This will be good for smaller recreational towing. One time I got an O2 sensor code. If I have time I'll have it replaced but otherwise O2 sensors are around $45. This is one of the rare vehicles which exceeds the maximum value range on the history report. It has a 94 rating and the average range is 78 to 89 (please check the history report). Pick up - If you prefer to pick up we can arrange airport pick up (from Fargo, ND- 60 miles from Fergus Falls) for free. Also, we can work around your time even before/ after office hours. There is a Greyhound bus station at Fergus Falls and we can arrange pick up from there also. Shipping - Even though shipping is totally the buyer's responsibility, we do our best to help you. One time I got up at 1am to accommodate a shipper coming to pick up a vehicle for a buyer in order to get a better rate for a customer. If paid in full, we can store it inside for a while until shipping/pick up is arranged. We have an account with uShip which is associated with eBay. We can get multiple shipping quotes for the winning bidder. You can also check online shipping companies to get a good deal on shipping. Vehicle shipping is not very cheap.
