I am listing this unique vehicle for a vendor and friend, and as those of you who have me added as a favorite seller know, I do NOT do consignments. This is a special case, only because I know he has taken great pains to sort it out, and that it is as described below.

Titled as a 1951 Kaiser, this amazing 6x6 Wrecker truck is an astonishing piece of unique Military and automotive history.
With a full sorting out of the hydraulic and powertrain systems done by the current owner, who is a veteran mechanic from when machines like this saw active duty, this vehicle is the perfect addition to any military collection, or a great vehicle for your recovery, clean-up, or debris removal business.
The cab body on the truck is showing its age with brittle sections and heavy oxidation. These appear predominantly at the lower edges of the doors, hood, and around the window seals.
The hood itself is very oxidized, but appears to be solid.
Tool boxes, and storage bins all appear to be solid, with light edge rust and oxidation.
Floors are solid feeling and supported my 250 pounds without issue.
The entire truck has a patina of age that is very appealing in person.
I have documented the condition with over 100 detailed photos below, and encourage you to review them closely, and ask questions about anything.
The chassis of the truck appears to be extremely solid, and a tap with a hammer to the frame from front to back shows only surface oxidation, and no rotted out areas.
Axles and braking components are fully functional, and appear to only show surface oxidation.
The engine on the truck is the venerable Mack ENDT673 six cylinder straight diesel that has been proven in more theatres than you can shake a stick at. It has been tuned up, has been upgraded with a new alternator and 12 volt charging system, and runs and performs wonderfully.
The radiator and cooling systems were recently cleaned, and new battery cables with a good D8 battery installed.
The transmission is a Spicer 6453 5spd with a HI/LO splitter that appears to be functioning as it should in all gears.
Clutch travel and take up is within acceptable parameters, and there appear to be no driveability issues with the truck.
The truck is equipped with a 270 degree crane with a two stage boom that has been refreshed with upgraded lines.
It is fully functional from the craneman seat, and all controls operate as they should as of the date of this listing.
The odometer is functional and currently reads 32,929 miles. The hourmeter shows 2755.
The delivery date of the truck according to the dash plate was 02/05/1967.
It is being sold as mileage exempt pursuant to Florida law due to model year.
I have not personally driven this rig, or operated the crane, but know the person who has rebuilt it, and trust them implicitly enough to risk my 100% 5-star ebay rating on listing the truck.
The interior is intact, and shows average upon inspection.
Tires are in fair condition all around, and the wheels show average.
The truck is not a concours showpiece, but is mechanically and functionally fit. It would prove to be a fantastic addition to any real world collection, and would be a functional farm, worksite, or disaster relief vehicle.
