This auction is for a 1986 Toyota SR5 pickup. The truck has the EFI 2.4 4cyl 22re engine mated to a 5speed transmission. The truck is lifted a little to fit the big 33x12.5 tires under neath, truck is quite bumpy and rattly, but very sharp!! Also have the original window sticker with all these kind of rare options like power antenna, power windows, locks, cruise and such Please read on for more detailed info, please note, this is a 25 year old truck and will need some work as it is no longer new. If you want the truck shoot an offer, I have a low reserve set so bid to win!! ENGINE: The engine is a little 4 cyl 22re, it is only 100 horsepower and I feel is underpowered for these tires. The engine may or may not be the original, it starts runs and drives but does have a lifter tick like they all develop I am told. The engine has 120 psi on all cylinders across the board. New fuel injectors, new intake gasket, new waterpump, new radiator, new fuel filter, new plugs, wires and cap, temp sensor,throttle positioning sensor, fuel pump and Im sure there is more. The truck starts up every time, runs pretty good, may need timing worked on as it has a little miss after install of throttle positioning sensor. TRANSMISSION: It is a 5 speed manual, hits all gears fine and stays in them 4WD SYSTEM: Just lock the hubs and give a little tug on the lever and away you go!! Works great!!! Had it out in the 17.5" of snow we had lastweek, it went thru it all fine, stopping wasnt fun as the wide tires are kind of like skis BODY: The body is really nice for 25 yrs old, Im sure it was redone, the box is a fiberglass reproduction, Ive never seen them before or have any idea what they cost, but all in all the truck looks good, it does have rust spots as seen in some of the pics. TIRES: The tires are in really good shape, lots and lots of bite on these huge 33x12.5 R15 tires. They do rub when turning a hard sharp turn. rims are in great shape as well. these are very howly tires, can hear coming a mile away INTERIOR: For being 25 years old it looks very good. It has a CD player, power windows, locks, cruise, delay, sliding rear window, OEM sunroof and a great heater. The windshield does have some cracks in it, as well as moonroof and neither leak. The drivers window goes up and down fine, but will not go up the last 3/4" or so, so it whistles. Aslo has rear slider, and a working power antenna from the factory. The vent visors keep rain out and the noise is mufflled out by the cd player turned up. EXHAUST: It has a test pipe in place of cat and a new muffler I see, not loud though!!!! BRAKES: ALL NEW, NEW Front calipers, master cylinder, pads, shoes, drums and break lines, new from head to toe and stop on a dime. Parking break inop, last time I checked one of these it got stuck, so assume its inop. OK< SO HERES THE LOWDOWN, the truck does need some work, I consider it a toy or mud truck in a way that runs and drives and looks good doing it. It is 25 years old. The truck sat for almost 3 years getting picked and prodded with new parts over the time, always started and moved but more a toy on the side.
