Vehicle Detail

1972 Pontiac Ventura II Sorry original posting was removed by Ebay for the word "not" in the title. Anyway, Looks like a Nova but has better lines. Nova parts are the same except for the front clip and emblems. Clean Transferable NYS Registration. Car is currently registered and inspected in NYS. This has been my daily driver for 3 years. 2 Door coupeGrandmas car, parked in garage. This preserved the chassis and vinyl top 307 2bbl.Chevy V-8, original Ice Cold A/C with new 134a freon Beautiful Vinyl Top, no rips or tearsSolid Floor boardsPerfect Body Bushings on Sub-FrameLeaf spring mounts very good New Dual Exhaust from Manifolds back Beautiful unmolested dash, Steering Wheel has No CracksPerfect HeadlinerCD/MP3 Am/Fm Stereo in Glove Box, Original AM radio in dashNew Carpet last year Fairly new Tires - Radial T/A's with Raised White Letters; 205/70/15 Pontiac 15" Rally Wheels including spare (5 Total)Factory Dual Sport MirrorsRides and handle niceNew brakes and wheel cylinders last years HEI ignition, recent tune-up including wiresSetup for Small Block Chevy already so a Crate engine will fall right in What it needs Body Work; Small parking lot dents and rust in lower quarters and fendersPaint is worn in many places and obviously will need Re-Paint. Some surface rust New LOWER Quarter panels included in sale. Just need to be welded onRear bumper has a patch of rust, needs to be re-chromed or replaced (same as nova) Front Bench Seat need to be recovered or replaced with bucketsDrum Brakes. Recommend changing to disc in front but car stops fine now More photos to follow On Mar-31-11 at 17:57:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added some bad Blackberry photos in the rain at night. What you see is the worst of the body damage: Lower Left Fender behind wheel, right rear lower quarter (i have the 2 lower quarters), Surface rust on the left rear upper quarter panel, dent on top of L/F fender. I will replace these photos tomorrow with photos from a real camera. I will also take shots of the Chassis which is the real reason to buy this car, very solid under carriage. Anyone can do bodywork but no one want to replace a rotted chassis. On Apr-02-11 at 17:35:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I added as many photos as they allow. Check out how clean and rust-free the floor boards are. The car is solid and rides super tight. The steering is also tight with no play and the steering wheel is crack-free, first one I've seen on a 40 year old driver. No rust at all where the vinyl top meets the chrome trim, no rust bubbles under the vinyl either. Good Luck..JUST LOWERED RESERVE...
