NEW UPDATED INFO PLEASE SEE @ BOTTOM OF DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!! Hi FolksThis truck works great and it has never left me. I have taken it on trips to New Orleans,Houston with no problems and pulled a travel trailer without hesitation or worries of breakdown. This is my personal truck that I have no more use for any longer so I am putting it up for sale today. I bought this truck in July 07 with 55k and I am the second owner .I purchased this truck at my local chevy dealership.Like many of us, DUE TO THE ECONOMY I have a new career and had to buy a Diesel Truck. Since august '10 I have been using this truck and we have another car my wife primarily uses but she uses the Chevy truck to her office 3 or 4 times a week, to keep it from sitting around, .I have been on the fence about selling this truck since I really like it and have put a lot of extras, but my wife now is getting a company car SO I dont have room and it will sit unused starting next month. The truck is an LT which comes with almost every option they offered except a sunroof. The features/options it has are the following:Leather seats-power/HEATED(both) and MEMORY(driver)Center console with overhead console and ONSTAR - Auto Dimming mirror with compassPower all -locks,windowsCruise, TiltFULL GAUGES -including transmission Temp available only on HD modelsI also added Custom contoured( Weather Tech )Front and rear Mats Gray Bose -Am/FM cassette with Cd Factory speakers were replaced by previous owner and they read sony through the grill coversTinted windows- front are Texas legal(35%) and back are limo -legal in TexasRear Defrost Back Glass Aluminum Alloys 16" Fog lights Tow hooksAutomatic Dimming Mirror ON/Off Automatic Headlights Mechanical Features 4x4 HDEngine- This has the LQ4, which is an LSX engine 6.0 v8 (normal 1500 had 5.3 option available only) Transmission-4L80 4 speed (normal 1500 has 4L60)Differentials(3.73) 3/4 ton axles 8-lug (1500 has 1/2 ton 6 lug)Frame is heavier than a normal 1500Bed for this truck is 6 1/2 ft normal 1500 has 6 Ft Automatic PUSH BUTTON locking 4wd with the option to engage FULL TIME 4WD while on the Road. Overall condition of vehicle is excellent in my opinion- I had the truck Waxed prior to the pics -All MAJOR MECHANICAL Drivetrain is working Great- 4WD engages and transmission shifts as it should-The truck was CUSTOMED programmed by a local programmer who specializes in LSx engines. He adjusted the engine to provide better performance and fuel economy. I also had the transmission shifts firmed up.-I have also UPGRADED the spark plugs to E3 and the Wires to MSD( the wires are thicker than stock)-I replaced the battery within the last year (walmart I have receipt for warranty)-I upgraded the Exhaust to DUAL exhaust with a magnflow Muffler and Chrome Tips -All Petroleum fluids were upgraded and replaced with Synthetic (Differentials,Transmissions,Transfer Case and Engine)-I had Radiator flushed, new thermostat installed and refilled approximately one year ago Dec 09.-I had a Knock sensors(2) AND the Wire Harness for the sensors Replaced ( Wire Harness was Brittle due to Location Over the top and towards the rear of engine) -Paint is Shiny - There is one Scratch(seePic) on Pass. Front Door AND Chips on the paint on the hood. There are no Dents, Bangs or Crushed metalBed of truck is scratched from normal use BUT the bed is not banged up or abused The truck has 305/16 cooper STT mud tires I installed when I bought the truck. They are going to need replacement in about 5 to 10k miles in my opinion. InteriorSeats- Leather was CLEANED and Conditioned day of this posting. Only damage is the Drive seat which has some wear and a tear on the lower front left area(see Pic)Carpet is clean with no stains and I have WEATHER TECH FRONT AND REAR mats which cover 90 % of carpet areaDash has one area (see PIc) near grab bar on Pass side that has some Small pealing Now for accident History about the truck:My Wife was rear ended by a volkswagon Jetta at an intersection in Oct 09. Driver was a young girl who was on the phone, not paying attention. The truck's bumper (factory) was bent downward and scratches on the side and tailgate, (the car DUE to its low position went underneath the truck, not even the full size Spare was damaged). The repair made was to replace the rear bumper (which at the time I had a a Ranch HAnd bumper installed and the sides and tailgate were painted). Coincidentally the truck around the same time prior to the rear end was backed into by an unkown driver at my wife's work place around the same time. This area was around the Left rear door and the front left side of the bed. The repair was to straighten out the ORIGINAL PANELS and Repaint the area. Due to matching colors and the amount of area to paint they repainted the Whole bed and replaced the graphics. I dont know of any accidents by the prior owner and it was not disclosed that the truck had any accidents, I havent done a carfax. The truck drives straight and the accidents mentioned did not damage the Frame of the truck . Only the mounts to bumper were damaged. Current Issues:I normally attend to any issues as they come up to keep the truck in proper working condition BUT between maintenance for my WORK TRUCK and BEING out of town , I haven't been able to give this truck any attention. So Here are the minor Issues :If your a DIY type of person these are no brainer and easy fixers ,But even if you need someone to install/repair these issues they don't require a High dollar mechanic. As a matter fact I was going to get my stereo guy who worked on my car's stereo to do all of these fixes(since they are so simple) but I haven't had time to get the parts and take the truck to himA)One Fog light LENS Fell off , Light works but there is no lens: Replacement HERE on EBay is about 50.00 B) The Biggest issue in my opinion is the Right Rear Window which is inoperable due to a Frayed Wire cable which raises and lowers the window. The easy fix is a complete Regulator with Motor Ebay Price :82.94 w free S & H. C) the Factory Radio works intermitenly. The lights and radio still function but no sound.I believe it may be a loose ground due to the fact when the pass door is closed or opened it goes in and out. The truck had after market speakers when I bought it and I haven't made alterations so it worked fine till about 7 or 8 months ago. D)The warning lights,transmission position indicator etc. on the dash has at times gone in and out and my stereo guy noticed an after market alarm installed in the truck. He indicated that the alarm BRAIN should probably be removed since some wires may have come loose . Again it does not affect the gauge's or odometer operation but the warning lights. Lately it hasn't given my wife any problems and everything has worked normally.E) One of the daytime running lights is not working.F) The windshield has several cracks and may or may not need replacement. I received a quote NEW WINDSHIELD for 110.00 installed.\G)The registration expires at the end of March, Inspection has expired Just like most people the truck has a lien which is at my starting price. The bank indicated to me that with certified funds(cash/cashiers check) they can release title in 7 business days. If I receive cash or cashiers check I will release truck and send the title to you OR if you live in Texas I have contacts at a dealership that could process all the paperwork(As if you were buying a car at a local dealership).
