Vehicle Detail
If you are looking for the nicest original tub you can find look no further. You are bidding on an early four digit Script Ford GPW. The previous owner had the frame cleaned up and painted and did not get to finish it. The floors and hat channels on this jeep are the nicest I've ever seen on a jeep. They are very solid. Other than some dents and the 3" crack on the tail panel where a spare tire use to be mounted the body is perfect. The jeep comes with the original data tags still on the original glove box, they have never been removed and are in excellent condition. The serial number on the data tag do match the frame serial number. Don't forget this is an early Ford on a willys frame which is very rare. Although not complete you won't need much to get a nice driver. Engine will need to be rebuilt. The T84 and transfer case are in great condition. Although not matching numbers, I bought the engine with the closest serial number I could find (less than 200 numbers between the jeep's serial number and the engine number). The only parts missing are the top bows, seat covers and combat wheels to have a complete jeep. The original harness has been removed but the jeep came with a harness kit when I bought it so that will be included with the sale. Although the jeep is now equipped with a later style windshield, it will be sold with the original windshield with no gun rack bracket and the brass latches that it came with. You will not find a project jeep this clean anywhere else in this price range. In fact you can't find a body this clean for any price. All gauges are there on the dash. As for the engine compartment it appears to be pretty complete with the exception of the horn that is missing. When I bought this jeep I had plan to get it in running condition within a week but the fact is it has been sitting in the same spot since I bought it. As always please do all your research before bidding on the vehicle. Due to the fact that my refund is nonrefundable, I recommend that all interested parties come see the jeep in person to make sure it is what they want before placing a bid. If you have any FORD GPA, SLAT GRILL or FORD GP parts to trade I would be interested. Don't let this one get away. That is the last gpw that I'm selling. I only have one slat gill left for sale.
