Kids have their own cars now, so I no longer need a van to haul around their stuff. 1996 Dodge Caravan Sport, SE package includes keyless entry 4 speed automatic transmission 3.3L Mitsubishi engine (engine is in good shape--does not burn oil and has not been in an accident) 2 rear sliding doors radio, CD, Infinity 10 speaker sound system; deluxe sound insulation conventional spare tire AC (replaced once), rear window defroster 7 passenger seating maintenance is current and records are available for your review Michelin tires have at least a couple years' life left in them recently replaced speedometer sensorsFirst, the good: I am the original owner and special-ordered the van. Van is the smaller version (NOT the Grand Caravan) and has the largest engine possible (3.3L.) Still gets pretty good mileage--rated 18/24 Inside is in good shape (see photos); it's very comfortable, especially for long trips In its day, it was rated as a very safe vehicle; it'd be good for a newly-licensed driver or for a handy person Price includes a set of rear brake pads and a repair manual Now, the not-so-good: While seats and console are in good shape, the ceiling fabric started loosening up, so I tried to staple it up. Looks not so great, but you could probably cover it if it bothered you a lot. Didn't bother me. Van has a few hit-and-run dents from parking lots. The worst thing is that, just when I was thinking of listing it, the gas gauge went out. So we tried to fix it, but didn't manage to do so. Instead, we managed to break the fuel pump. So you'll have to have it towed or else replace the fuel pump before you can drive it away. (This is the reason the price is reduced from the KBB price of $2290.)
