NO RESERVE Up for sale is a great barn find. A 1969 Datson 2000 with a 2 liter engine. This car is like a time capsule. We have the orginal purchase invoice dated March 17, 1969 along with the owner's manual and service receipts. The engine number is u2-07563 which is a 4cylinder 2 liter and on top of the engine is marked as 1969 Nissian OVC (over head cam). It also has dual carbs. The car is in wonderful condition considering it has been sitting in a barn for about 15plus years. The paint is faded and has some chips in places, nothing major. The driver's seat will need to be replace or redone. We do not have the soft top. The previous owner did not have it. It was running when it was parked in the barn. So far we know it will need a new fuel pump and is having some clutch issues. We will be working on getting it running in the next few days. It is fun just getting to go thru the car learn about a foreign sports car. The motor is not looked up and the brakes are not frozen. The over all condition is good frame only has surface rust. We do have the original jack and the spare tire assembly. Trunk has no rust issues. This would make a great quick retore project.
