We are selling our wonderful ``Hippie’’ 1971 VW pop-top camper. It drives excellently without any mechanical problem. We drove 6,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt (engine was completely rebuilt in the summer of 2009). Transmission and ignition were changed two months ago (2011). We crossed the U.S. with our 2 children last summer (Louisiana - California) without any problems. The interior and exterior are truly in good condition. The last four years, we changed the following things: Engine completely rebuilt (summer 2009). Transmission (2011) Ignition (2011) Starter Canvas on pop top Rubber seals on doors/windows Exhaust extractor Seat belts Canvas (Pop top hammock) Carpet Tires Paint We have a cover and 2nd hammock for child you can put in the front.
