Vehicle Detail

1986 Buick Regal T-Type. I bought this car two years ago and have put only 5,000 miles on it. Just sits in the garage, and gets taken out on the occasional summer weekend. (never seen snow or rain) Being a mechanic by trade I’ve kept it maintained very well. The person I bought it off of had it repainted two years prior to me buying. This car was from Memphis TN. It is COMPLETELY rust free. None. This Regal is a "factory lightweight" car. No power options. Crank windows, manual locks, manual seats, etc. The engine had been rebuilt about 4 years ago, studs throughout motor, Precision turbo was added, only running 15 lbs of boost, 3 inch Dutweiller down pipe, Exhaust Cut out, Dutweiler intercooler, Red Armstrong fuel pump, Red Armstrong computer and PROM, 55 lbs low impedance injectors, air bags in rear coil springs, bilstein shocks, voltage booster, adjustable waste gate, adjustable boost controller under hood, Accufab adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Scanmaster monitor in car, 3 inch single shot exhaust all the way back, 3:48 gears in differential, all Art Carr parts in transmission, 3800 stall converter, external transmission cooler, A/C blows super cold, front end parts are all tight, brakes are good, belts/hoses good, battery strong. With a set of good drag radials and increased boost there’s no doubt in my mind that this car couldn’t be somewhere in the mid 11’s in the ¼ mile.. Anyway, the interior is in fair shape, carpet and floormats are original, the drivers side carpet shows some minimal wear, no stains or burns though. Seats in decent shape, normal wear drivers side could use re padded as the previous owner was a bit on the heavy side. Paint is in excellent shape. Very shiny. Tires are fair, alignment is good. Runs very strong and drives like….well….like a Buick should! Still maintains that soft Buick ride, even with the stiffer suspension. This car isn’t perfect, just an all around nice 22 year old collector, that needs a good home!
