2001 Saturn SL2 Sedan 4 Door VIN#: 1G8ZK52781Z333448 Engine: 4 cyl, 1.9L Transmission: Automatic Drive: Front Wheel Mileage: 77K Color: Silver Equipment: A/C, CD, Etc. This 2001 Saturn SL2 has 77K miles on it. I bought it in February 2004 with 19k miles and used it as a family vehicle for last 7 years until having an accident during "black-ice" condition in February 2011, where the passenger side hit the poll. Engine (car) still runs. Damage is shown in the photos to the passenger side fender, front bumper and passenger side front wheel. A body shop/mechanic informed me that he would charge ~$1200 to fix the body and wheel and to diagnose if there is anything else wrong. This is more money than I am willing to invest but want to sell it to you so that you could repair it or use it for parts needed for your Saturn. KBB prices the car at $3645 in excellent condition and $3345 in good condition. The car was running really well before the accident and it still runs. I had a brake job about a year ago. While changing the automatic transmission fluid two months ago, a mechanic confirmed that the automatic transmission is in a very good condition and I have not had any problems with transmission at all before or since then. This car has never been involved in accidents before the recent accident in February, and there is no rust. A/C and heat ran well. Windshield and all windows are with no cracks at all. Did not have any problems with the car/engine before accident. Car is located in Naperville, IL (Chicago suburb; ~30 miles west of downtown Chicago). Buyer is responsible for picking up the car locally (no shipping). Car is sold as is. No refund. Questions/inspections must be done DURING the bidding process. Available for inspection or viewing by appointment. You can take it for parts or fix it as needed for driving. As for the payment and pick-up I can be flexible and store the car for up to 20 days but I will need full payment within 7 days of the auction end! A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required within 24 hours of end of auction. Remaining balance is required within 7 days. Payment must be made by cash (preferred).
