Up for auction is an Original 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible non Air conditioning, It needs major Restoration work to bring it back. Needs floor pans done/Rockers are rusted but I have a pair of repro rockers going with the car. also needs: trunk Floor pan rusty/Lower quaters will need to be replaced. The original Boxed frame of this Convertible is in real nice condition and was preserved a while back in it's day. The body of the car is just resting on the frame/bushings and not totally bolted down. It has it's original complete Disc Brake set up and has a 10 bolt open rear end. This is an original factory Cardinal red exterior trim code #75 with a B code Black Convertible top car and the interior code is #Z269 Black with a wood grain trim. I have not done a PHS search yet on the car. I also don't know about the front GTO nose option????~Endura or chrome? I have a Regular Lemans Sport front end that will be going with the car that is OK but needs some work. Includes: 2-Good flat solid unkinked 1971 Lemans hoods one with hing's/both Fenders that will need some work with both wells/1-Fiberglass Header panel that also needs work with decent grills and 2-front chrome bumpers. 1-Trunk lid needs work and has rust. 2-driver doors are nice and then 2 Passenger doors~ 1-passenger door is shot with rust on it's lower edge the other is solid but has dings but is good for this resto project. All glass is there with the front windsheild in good condition with very nice chrome trim and very decent cowl section! The convertible top frame is also nice and complete condition but the rear glass window has become detched on it's bottom top material. I do have 1-rear bumper core for the car but has a dent and both tailight lenses are broken but the housings and wiring are good. This lemans Sport has an original tilt wheel(still there)a Non rally gauge package and is an original bucket seat car(Buckets missing)PMD 3 speed floor shifter I have,floor console(missing). The interior is very rough but the back seats upper & lower are there, The rear arm rest and panels are still there but have speaker holes in the bottom sections. I have all the original wiring. The dash pad is cracked but I also have another black dash pad that is also a good core going with the car. A set of Rally II rims will be going with the car. The original motor and tranny are long gone but I do have another Original 1971 Lemans Sport 350ci two barrel motor(99'000 miles on it that ran years ago) plus 3 speed(turbo 350) tranny going with the car removed from another 1971 lemans Sport parts car I have. So purchase this convertible to do a major restoration or use as a parts car for your other project going on but either way you will get some good had to find original parts. I have in Hand an Open Clean Title from the previous owner so no issues with registration and both the original trim tag and original vin plate are there and undisturbed!!
