Vehicle Detail
This Honda C110 has been in my family since new and for most of its life was spent in my Grandpa's basement. It was given to me about 5 years ago and I promptly got it back in to riding condition. I had the broken handlebar switches replaced with NOS parts that exactly matched the orginals, I had the inside of the tank kreemed, new tires fitted, and a carburetor rebuild kit installed. I also installed a 6v LED brake light bulb to reduce power consumption so that the headlight would be brighter. The bike is in excellent orginal condition and still retains its original paint and seat cover. I am selling it because I don't have much storage space and I need funds for another family bike that I am restoring. Is there any rust on the chrome or frame? There is some very minor surface rust present in places but I wouldn't think about replacing any parts or applying any paint because of it. It you are in to 100% original bikes this is about as good as it gets I think. But I am no expert on this subject. Is there any body damage on it? It looks like the left tank chrome panel is dented. Both chrome panels have a very slight dent on their upper edge. I am not sure what caused it but it has been that way as long as it has been in my posession. How are the spokes, nipples, rims any rust?Rims are excellent but the spokes have surface oxidation but nothing I would call rust. I am not sure if the spokes were chrome orginally or not. I have not tried to polish them at all. Actually nothing on this bike has been washed in two years. Is the seat original vinyl or has it been recovered and either way is it unripped? The seat seems original to me. It has a Texture and logo color that is different than any other Honda I have been around. I replaced the foam in the seat but I wish I had gotten a firmer foam as this is a little too soft. I made sure to re-use the orginal holes in the cover when I re-installed the cover over the foam. Do you a valid title? Yes, I have a vaild Kansas title in hand Is the bike in running condition?Yes, I rode the bike around this past fall. Do you have the owner's manual? No I don't have an owners manual. Sorry Does the bike have the tool kit?Sorry but I don't think it does have the tool kit. I looked around on the bike and I don't even see a place for a toolkit. I didn't look under the seat bit you need a tool to get the seat off so I don't know why they would put it there. Once side cover is over the air filter and the other covers the battery. Does this bike have electric start? No the bike doesn't have electric start. I normally push "bump" start the bike as my grandpa instructed me to do. Does everything work on the bike?Bike runsHeadlight worksBrakelight worksSpeedometer worksBrakes work
