I also converted the ignition to electronic so no more points to change. Comes with painted black fender skirts with new stainless scuff pads and mounting hardware. Also 4 nice Impala full hubcaps. I bought this car from a classic dealer in Georiga. I have the orginal dealers bill of sale showing the date purchased new in 1963, buyer and amount. It appears the car still has the original floor pans, trunk floor and sheet metal. I had every intension of converting this beautiful Impala into a 409 4-speed car. I have since moved to another Corvette project and the Impala is not being utilized. This is someones chance to buy the Impala. The car would certainly drive across the U.S. trouble free. Starts right, engine purrs like a kitten (that correct show detailed Rochester 4G carb cost $400.00. What still needs fixing is a shot of Freon for the A/C. Factory radio is not hooked up (I use the CD for oldies). The back windows are a little hard rolling up. The new door weatherstripping installed. If you wanted to attend car cruises you'd be fine and get tons of comments. I you wanted to show the car and win purhaps a little more detailing under the hood, a couple of spots wet sanded and buff and I would have the grille re-show anodized. Don't get me wrong the car looks great at 5'or closer in my opinion. The paint is just not a fresh show paint job. That's what it would take to win. With all the new mouldings it would be a shame not to make this car 100% perfect and be done. There is well over $25,000 invested in this beautiful Impala at this point. Not interested in any trades. Space, money or another car is not the issue. I simply don't have time. You know what happens if you don't drive them. I will sell to U.S. only. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. You are buying from an individual. I am located near St. Louis, Missouri in Illinois. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the close of the aution. Payment in full within 7 days. Title is free and clear. You are welcome to make an appointment and see the car. I will be selling the Impala for less than I actually have in it. So bid to buy!
