1982 Mercedes Benz 380SL 2-Dr Coupe Exterior: Black Interior: Black Vinyl / Leather 3.8L V8 / 4-Speed Auto Trans Well maintained with just 113,321 miles This car is what you need! A classic cruiser with a flare of Mercedes Benz luxury. A great driver and rare piece of long, lost 1980's history. This Mercedes has not been through our service department for inspection, but it has been personally inspected and test drove by me. Please note the following concerns which may or may not need attention, depending on the nature of its usage: Worn driver's seat Inoperative radio Dime-sized rock chip in windshield With consideration of this vehicle's age, the concerns listed above are not that severe in nature. It would only be fair to advertise this to you, the buyer, so that you are properly informed prior to purchase. This is a nice 380SL! The black paint is glossy and free of any severe body damage. The finish is very good but could use a buff / wax job to remove minor scratches and oxidation, which is common with any vehicle that's black. The exterior lights, chrome bumpers, and trim are all in good condition. The interior is overall in good condition minus the very common worn driver's seat. It appears that this is a removable hard-top coupe. I cannot confirm carefree operation as it was not removed during inspection. The car starts up with little to no hesitation. Appears to idle and run well for its age and mileage. The automatic transmission has an ever so slight delay when shifting from park - reverse - a forward gear at idle. However, all forward gears shift smoothly while traveling down the road from a stop. The car is equipped with factory 14" silver painted steel wheels, wrapped in P205/70R14 Lemans Touring tires, which appear to be like-new replacements with lots of tread life remaining.
