1949 Ford Business Coupe with Corvette Drive Line This car was built twenty years ago. Was a former Autoshow winner. It has a complete Corvette suspension and drive line. 350 V8 engine and turbo transmission. The Corvette independent suspension has been adapted to the original frame (both front and rear). 4 wheel disk brakes. The tilt steering and console have been adapted to the original, it looks like it came from the factory that way (professional installation). It has custom headers with a new aluminized dual exhaust system. It has swivel bucket seats. The interior has been reupholstered in black leather...looks excellent. Chrome plated windows and garnish moldings. There have been numerous custom features on this car: It has a 1951 hood which has been louvered, custom electric trunk, power antenna frenched in the rear quarter panel, leaded door handles with custom latching, custom bumpers (front and rear) with Chevy license plate bracket installed on the rear. frenched in headlights with halogen bulbs, blue dot tail lights, custom chrome grille, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, tinted windows, chrome reverse wheels with baby moons hubcaps and new rear tires. Also comes with custom chrome lake side pipes, chrome dummy spot lights, and real steel bubble skirts. This is an old school custom and you just don't see them built like this anymore.
