Up for auction is this pretty nice all original 4 door sedan. 4 cylinder, 3 sp. manual with what looks to be the original paint. With complete original upholstery. All the glass is in excellent shape. Windows roll up & down nicely. Steering wheel & dash are in nice shape. The doors are amazing as they lineup & close perfectly. Lights and cowl lamps work, however, the tail light does not. The body of this car is straight, rust & dent free. Cowl areas where some model A's will rust look solid. Fenders are in good shape, no tears in metal. The drivers side rear fender is bent up.(see picture) I had a body man look at it and he said that it would be easy to straighten out. There is a dent in the running board edge also. (see picture). Hood and radiator shell are in nice shape too. Top had one small rip about an inch that I sealed up. This car had been stored in a garage the past ten years and the motor is stuck. It had turned over a year ago, so it may loosen back up. I have the cylinders soaking in marvel mystery oil at this time. Hopefully it will free by end of auction, but will be sold 'as is'. I checked and engine #s match the title so this engine is original to the vehicle. My boy (kitty) Chancey likes to get in the picture too, he does NOT come with the car. All 4 tires are new. The brakes are good. And the steering is nice & tight. Overall this is as nice & solid model A that you will find for the money. Reserve is under $7K, so very affordable. I do have an extra block that is available for $350.00 that you could put in the car and drive while the original is being rebuilt.(Just a thought) I'd like to think the original would free up. If it frees up I will try to start it up. Car needs headlight lenses and one outer ring. Other than that it is all there. It is for sale locally, so the auction may end early. The $1000 down to PayPal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the balance is only acceptable by wire or cash in person within 7 days of the end of the auction. The balance will NOT be accepted in to PayPal. The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for transportation of the vehicle. This car is currently in the garage & will be housed there for 30 days to allow for pickup or transportation.
