This car features the brand-new for 1953 Dodge 241CID Hemi engine. While Mopar in general had Hemis earlier than 1953, this was the first year for Dodge. This vehicle also features the Mopar "Fluid-Drive" semi-automatic transmission. An automatic with a clutch pedal.This particular vehicle is mostly original. The body is straight with no dents to speak of. It would take very little external work to get ready for a nice paint job. It still retains most of its chrome, including the original ram hood ornament. Even most of the hubcaps remain on the car. The engine and transmission are both there. The car has not been run in many years and the engine will need a rebuild. I have tried to turn it over by hand and it does not turn.While the external body is in excellent shape, the floorboards in the front will need replacement. Also, the windshield and the rear quarter glass is broken. trades may be considered. no smog only. Local Pickup only. This vehicle is sold as-is where is.
