Up for auction is this really nice '65 CJ5 with 29,000 original miles. Has the 134 C.I. 4 cyl. with 3 spd on th ecolumn. This is the rare 'tuxedo park IV edition'. Also referred to as the gentlemans jeep. Even though its a 'gentleman's' jeep, my wife thinks it is a very cute vehicle that she'd like to ride around in, so ladies too, if this is your style of vehicle, it is certainly one of the better ones to be had. Starts and runs very good. Has new brakes and new fuel pump. Shifts smoothly. 4 wheel drive shifter on the floor shifts in & out of gears smoothly and effortlessly. Has manual lockout hubs installed. Comes with the original full time hubs. Everything works good as far as the 4 wheel drive and in low gear will go anywhere. Body is in great shape for its age as is the under-carriage. Inner fender wells are in great shpe. See how nice the dash top is when you lay the windshield down. Usually this area gets rusted out, but not on this jeep. All 4 tires are new. The seats and pads in the rear are really nice. Engine compartment is rust free and very clean. There are no leaks at all underneath. Hard to find a nicer jeep with no issues, with this low of mileage. An affordable price. This is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
