I am selling my adult owned 2002 VW Passat GLS 4Motion sedan which has been an excellent car since day one. I am only selling because I recently relocated to Florida and no longer need an all-wheel drive car. I have always kept this car in top mechanical shape, getting regular oil changes with Castrol Syntech synthetic motor oil. At each annual PA inspection my mechanic checked the car over and let me know of any concerns, which if any, were minor and addressed immediately. The car has always passed state inspection with no problems. No accidents since new. Recent maintenance includes a new timing belt service at 109K miles with new water pump and seals, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, all new brake rotors and pads. The car starts and runs great, shifts smoothly and rides excellent. It is a joy to drive. The car has a 2.8 liter V-6 with 5 speed automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, windows, mirrors, heated seats, heated mirrors, A/C, keyless entry, remote start, power tilt/sliding moonroof, cruise control, AM/FM/CD player and optional VW factory in-trunk mounted Phatnoise system which uses a removable 20GB cartridge. The cartridge has a dock that connects to your PC and software that allows music to be loaded in. Other features include steering wheel controls, leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, fog lights and upgraded later model OEM 16" wheels and tires. The body is in very nice shape for its age, with some typical minor chips on the hood and bumper, a few minor scratches mostly on the rear bumper and a couple of small dings on the rear deck lid, easily repairable by Dent Wizard. The car is rust free, awesome in any weather and has the same drive train as the Audi A4 Quattro. I lived on a mountain road for a few years and never had a problem getting through. I really hate to let the car go, but it just isn't practical to have down here. I have the clean title in hand. Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of end of auction, balance due within 5 days after that. Payment must clear prior to the car leaving my property.
