Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Interior – The upholstery, headliner and carpet are all in great shape. I don’t know if they are original, though. The dash and such are original gray paint and in perfect shape. The upholstery and door panels are upholstered in red cloth and are in very nice condition. The headliner is gray and perfect, while the armrests are a brown plastic. There are no rips, tears or holes in the upholstery – it all looks new. Exterior (Chrome) – I had the headlight trim, inner and outer bullet-nose rings and the fender spears chrome plated and installed a NOS center bullet. The remaining chrome (bumpers, hood ornament and hubcaps) is all in good shape with a few minor imperfections. Exterior (Paint) – The paint is a 20 footer. I believe the car was repainted before I got it. It’s in fairly good shape except for the right front fender where there were a number of paint speckles that have popped off and show a little rust (see photo). No other rust is visible Tires – All five tires are in good condition with good tread. The four tires on the car have wide whitewalls. The spare in the trunk does not. Glass – All the glass is good except for the left front vent window which is showing some discoloration of the lamination about the edges (see photo) All in all, this is a nice, fun car with a unique look that’s sure to get you honks and waves as you drive the road. I hate to part with it, but I had my right leg amputated last year so can no longer drive any of the cars in my collection that have manual transmissions. I require a $500 deposit within 3 days of close of the auction by cash, money order, certified bank check or wire transfer. The balance is due before the car can be picked up; again by cash, money order, certified bank check or wire transfer. I am also willing to use an escrow agent.I am also listing the car locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction before it ends.
