Vehicle Detail

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Orvis Edition Package 5.2L 4x4 Up for sale is my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Orvis Edition. This Jeep is a very rare one and I will explain why below. The Orvis edition was only made from 1993-1997 and featured the moss green & saddle colored seats with the red ribbing around the edge. This interior wasn't found in any other Grand Cherokee. Another distinct addition is the badge on either front door. The rear tire cover was branded by Orvis as well as the front two door panels. 1997 was the only year to feature the full saddle colored dash and saddle door skins while eliminating that two tone agate/saddle combo. 1997 was the only year to offer the "Light Driftwood" exterior on the Orvis Edition. There were only 2,733 produced in 1997 and it's thought that less than 1,000 were "Light Driftwood" in color. Here is a list of other specs on the 1997 edition: Two color options Silver and Moss Green -A/C automatic temperature control -Color keyed front and rear fascia, body side cladding, bumper guards -Skid plate-tow hooks -Orvis badging and graphics -Mirrors body color, electric, heated, w/memory feature & driver's side electro chromic (night safety vision) -Remote keyless entry with memory feature for two different drivers -Seat-power luxury Orvis leather driver and passenger-6 way adjustable, recline and lumbar, memory for two different drivers -Speed proportional steering -Steering wheel-black leather wrapped w/cruise control, center horn and remote audio controls on reverse side -Sun visors, cloth w/dual illuminated vanity mirrors, 3 separate garage door opener, homelink universal transmitter buttons, pull out sun shades -Floor mats- Front and rear "Orvis" -Tires-P225/70R216 OWL Wrangler HP -Wheels 16x7 luxury aluminum with Moss Green paint in pockets(Only on Moss Green Exterior) The Orvis Edition (1995–1997) 1996 Grand Cherokee Orvis The Orvis (1995–1997)[7] was a Grand Cherokee Limited package that featured an exterior color scheme of Moss Green, or in 1997 the (less common) Light Driftwood, with roan red and maize side strip accents (1995). Moss Green paint accents on the road wheels (matching the moss green body color) and the special "Orvis" brand badging were the only significant exterior visual differences. In performance, the 5.2 V8 engine became standard, but was available with a 4.0 inline 6-cylinder engine. Also, all Orvis editions were installed with tow hooks and the Up-Country suspension group. However, the interior was special. Two-tone green and tan leather seats were complemented with roan red accent piping and Orvis insignia. There was a slight difference between the 1996 and 1997 years' interior compared to each other. The 1996 had a black dash where the 1997 had a tan dash, The Orvis Edition luxury trim package was optional on the Limited version, and when equipped with all the other options was the most expensive of all the Grand Cherokee versions until 1998 when the 5.9 Limited was introduced. Production numbers of the Orvis Editions are: 1995- 10,020 1996- 2,341 1997- 2,733 My Orvis has been very cared for. I have the original sale window sticker as pictured below and both key fobs. The jeep has the full tow hook/hitch & skid package and the up-country suspension. It idles perfectly and rides very smoothly. I believe that I am the third owner. The interior is near flawless. The steering wheel shows some wear but you would think the seats had been replaced based upon their minimal wear. The exterior is in good condition and the paint shows no fading. There is a small dent on the driver's fender that could be knocked out most likely. All the electronics work perfectly(windows, sunroof, radio, etc). I have installed a K&N FIPK system to replace the air box. It gives the Jeep a little more power, which it does not lack. The A/C works perfectly and so does the Heat. The headliner is in perfect condition. The tires need replacing somewhat soon but when I buy a vehicle I like that so I can choose what I like. There is a small hole in the rear exhaust pipe. Easily repairable. I have all the service records and dates. PICTURES: TERMS & CONDITIONS:: All sales are final.
